Replace Your Missing Teeth with High-quality Dentures

Thanks to advancements in materials and techniques, replacing missing teeth with predictable and natural-looking solutions is easier than ever. While dental implants and bridges provide dependable solutions for missing teeth, dentures remain a true-and-tried choice for completing your smile.

Glow Dental Co. fabricates dentures made from durable materials and an eye for artistry to achieve a comfortable fit and natural appearance. Expertly placed by Dr. Kelsi Lewis and the team, our artistically fabricated dentures reestablish attractive smiles while enabling patients to talk, eat, and smile confidently.

What are our denture options?

Dentures are custom-made removable (sometimes fixed) appliances that rest comfortably over your gums. Dentures consist of prosthetic teeth mounted on a flesh-colored base. Besides offering a cost-effective tooth loss solution, dentures are pretty versatile. They can replace one or all teeth in the mouth.

Our dentures come in several shapes and sizes to provide a solution for every smile. The following are our denture options.

  • Complete dentures: Full dentures can effectively replace all your teeth in the lower, upper, or both arches of your teeth. Complete dentures can be immediate or conventional. Immediate or same-day dentures are placed immediately after tooth extraction to restore your smile as your gums heal. Traditional dentures are placed after your gums heal fully.
  • Partials: In cases where some healthy teeth remain, partials offer an economical and effective solution. They fit precisely in the edentulous space and achieve stability from removable clasps attached to the surrounding teeth.

As with other restorations, there’s no one-size-fits-all solution for dentures. Our dentist will fit your restoration based on your specific needs. Dentures can be removable or fixed. Some patients love removable restorations because they allow for easier maintenance. However, many patients love fixed dentures because they feel and function like natural teeth.

What is denture stabilization?

Conventional dentures remain secured in the mouth with natural suction or dental adhesives. Unfortunately, conventional dentures may become wobbly and uncomfortable as gums shrink due to tooth loss.

Our office can combine dental implants’ stability and dentures’ beauty to create the ultimate restoration. We stabilize complete dentures with as few as four implants per jaw. Known as All-on-4 implants or fixed dentures, stabilized dentures are stable and comfortable when using your teeth.

What should I expect after receiving my denture?

Once you receive your new denture, it will take some time to get used to your restoration. It’s not unusual to need some adjustments as you begin to chew, speak, and talk with your new teeth. You can expect a few adjustments until your dentures feel entirely normal. If your dentures cause sores, try to wear your appliance a day before your appointment so we can see the area we need to relieve the discomfort.

Once you start wearing your set, you’ll also experience increased saliva production and challenges when speaking and eating. These challenges will gradually disappear as you get used to your new teeth. Your dentist will encourage you to wear your dentures as much as possible to get used to your restorations.
